Task 4: Introduce yourself to an international audience

What is unique about you? What made you who you are today? What is your motto?
By responding to these questions, you are painting a self-portrait , but instead of using colors, you are using words only! Good Luck!
After you finish your post, you can respond to another student from your class and/or to a student from  classblog261.blogspot.com in Moldova State University.

Task 3 (Nov. 19-25): Exemplification in an Image

Choose a picture from you school days that reflects the content of your posts in Task 2. The picture should be coupled with a caption explaining the idea that it represents.

Here is a photo that I took of classmates and teachers at the end of a school year showing the friendliness of faculty posing with their students. At my Alma Mater, we rarely felt a distance between the teachers and ourselves.

Task 2 (Nov. 12-16)

After having read Samuel Long's: "The American Way of Learning", reflect on your way(s) of learning at school. Some of you were in a French,English ,or even German system with distinct features. What were the shortcomings of the system that you belonged to? Focus on the teachers, students,or the system itself just like Long did when he evaluated the American system from his experience . Looking forward to reading your input on the subject!

Participation
The board is graded on a weekly basis, and your overall discussion board
grade is an average of the individual grades you receive for the board worth 10% on the final grade for this course. Each week’s grade represents activity in the current lesson’s threads only.
Each lesson contains two or three prompts that are connected to that lesson’s
learning outcomes. In addition to responding to these prompts, you should
engage in the board by initiating posts and responding to the posts of others in
ways that advance the conversation. You might, for instance:
• Post an opinion based on reading/research you do on the topic.
• Respond thoughtfully to a topic from your own experience.
• Provide links and resources related to the topic that would be of interest
to other participants.
• Pose a thought-provoking question related to the topic.
• Collect multiple perspectives on a topic or provide an alternate
perspective to the one currently dominating the discussion.
• Thoughtfully rebut another participant’s comments.
• Synthesize the current class discussion by summing up arguments or
discussion points.
